“Simple Graces” is awesome, it’s unbelievably good. I just love her music. Ahmayo Bohm, spiritual healer
“Simple Graces” is full of beautiful melodies and well-crafted lyrics. Production is excellent, and the instrumentation complements Chappel’s voice. My current favorite tracks are “So Disappointed” and “Awesome Way.” But the killer track is “Give Me Something-”if you can get through that song without your heart being wrenched out of your chest, you haven’t got one. Lori Magnuson
Simple Graces is great album that lives up to its name. The songcraft is gorgeous, deep and open, without any heavy-handedness or pretension. Michelle’s guitar style at once unique and familiar, giving her music its own flavor but never disengaging the listener…anyone who appreciates good modern folk will love this body of work. Mike
I adore Michelle and I love her music! Linda Miyahia
It was great to catch Michelle Chappel perform. She and the band sounded really good. I left singing, “Bring some roses, drink champagne…” and was inspired to play guitar for hours once I got home. Seth Socolow
I am really really impressed with Michelle Chappel’s CD “Simple Graces.” She is awesome. It is obvious that she has found her purpose and is giving it away. She has a beautiful voice and I really enjoy the uniqueness of her songs. It is very clear that she put her soul into her music and there is something about that that is very special and beautiful. She shares all of herself with her listeners, her strength, her hurts, her vulnerabilities, her dreams, and that adds an element of purity to her music that makes it unique. Phillip Sienna
